Meet Dr. Courtney Crisp.
It is an honor to meet you.
I specialize in working with eating disorders, the queer/LGBTQIA+ community, and neurodivergence such as autism and ADHD. I also work with those dealing with general life stressors, financial stress, anxiety, OCD, and depression. I believe that knowledge is power when it comes to your mental health, and you do not have to face mental health challenges alone. In our sessions, we can explore your goals and challenges in a supportive, safe, and authentic environment.
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have worked in a number of settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient medical facilities, university-based counseling clinics, and work with active-duty military.
I have written for online publications such as Psychology Today, Authority Magazine, and Motherly and local newspapers such as The Marin Voice. I also have been featured as an expert in The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Autostraddle, Scary Mommy, and Architectural Digest. I am the author of a children’s book called “How Kingston Got His Stripes,” as well as the forthcoming book with APA Books in late 2026 on feminist financial psychology titled “Feminist Perspectives on Money, Women, and Psychology.”
I live in the Long Beach, California with my husband, son, and King Charles Cavalier named Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy. I enjoy playing basketball, traveling, and drinking matcha lattes.
